Our technological basis for innovative products are power electronics and programmed control technology with which we manufacture products for the sensible treatment of material and energy.

Our new product is the mains unit TP2200VER for the feed-in and /or feed-back of electrical energy of up to several hundred kVA.

Moreover it offers a number of advantages for the power factor, mains compensation uses and torque yield.


FEED-BACK WITH TP2200VER/B 400

During many operations electrical energy arises by generator operation mode. This energy must be removed from the operation to carry it out effectively or to avoid damage.

As frequency inverters on the mains side usually have bridge connected rectifiers they can not feed the electrical energy back into the supply network directly.

Instead of being converted for example into unusable heat by "brake resistors" the electrical energy can be bed back into the electrical supply network and made usuable again with the aid of the VER400.

This is an elegant and enviromentally-friendly solution.

The VER400 is rated for the peak value of the feed-back power which arises. This value can be considerabley lower than the rated driver power. For an increase in power the parallel operation of esveral VER400 is also permissible.

FEED-IN AND FEED-BACK WITH VER/S 400

The operation of frequency inverters with bridge connected recifiers as current inverters on the mains side results in feed-backs into the supply network which, depending on the supply conditions, exceed the permissible limit values. These disadvantages disappear when the feeding is carried out with a VER400.

Aspecial control system guarantees that the flow of the circuit is sinusoidal. This is valid both for feed-in as well as for feed-back with one and the same VER400. The phase-angle relation lengths of the mains currents are controlled so that only real power output is taken from the mains.

The highest possible exploitation of the mains connecting power by frequency inverters and the cost saving for the mains compensation are achieved.

A further advantage is a certain voltage reserve which can be used as a varible intermediate circuit voltagein the frequency inverter, e.g. in order to supply the motor with a higher feed voltage. This has a favourable effect on the torque yield, especially in the field weakening range.
