表2给出了符合FCC场强限制的50Ω负载接收天线处的测量电压,表2所采用的AF取自图一对数周期阵列天线的规格书。表3给出了同样装置下测量到的功率值,表3所示有效辐射功率来自于符合场强限制的发射器和天线,空间损耗和接收天线增益决定50Ω负载上的功率。两个表格中的结果一致。这些表格为短波UHF发射器的设计者和使用者提供了参考,帮忙确定系统是否满足FCC要求,是否能够提供所需功率。
本文表格给出了功率和电压的测量值,它们是规范中场强和EIRP的函数。这些数值会因使用测试天线的不同而变化。测量中还需要参考校正系数,考虑电缆损耗、失配损耗等,这些因素与频率有关。测试环境中,特别是来自地面的反射,能够造成接收电压发生显著变化(多达6dB)。需要校准地面反射,可以使用另一个参考天线,通常为偶极子天线,辐射天线的极化需要尽可能与测量天线的极化相匹配。需考虑辐射设备的方向模板,即使辐射天线尺寸非常小(小于1/6波长),因为封装、测试装置、同轴电缆的地屏蔽层都会引起方向性的变化。
这些表格中的场强大小参照了FCC规范允许的平均功率限制,假如传输持续时间、占空比符合某些限制条件,辐射峰值功率限制在20dB左右。因此,设计人员需要特别注意明显高于表格中所列数据的情况。因为测试值满足场强限制,在对设备进行调整时并不困难。举例来说,假如一个产品的占空比允许315MHz下的峰值场强比FCC平均场强高出10dB,那么此时峰值场强的大小可以为19.1µV/m,或85.6dBµV/m。表2和表3种对应的电压和功率为71dBµV 、-36dBm。
测量并获得所有这些参数后,即可利用这里提供的表格确定发射器是否满足设计要求。
